Highlights
Township occupancy approval of this building required extensive
renovations for code compliancy. Chapter 12 (compliance
alternatives) of the International Existing Building Code
2003 was used in determining alternate code requirements
allowing the elimination of the requirement to add a sprinkler
system. The building was required to be alarmed and have
an elevator added.
Additionally, in working with the church, the entire interior
space renovation work was self-performed by church members.
